Unfortunately John Burnside has experienced an unexpected bereavement and has had to withdraw from the festival. Kei Miller and Sasha Dugdale will still be reading 'Dwelling Places' on Saturday evening.


Agenda Poetry Festival Programme 2017

The fourth International Poetry Festival promoted by the well-known Poetry Journal, Agenda, edited by Patricia McCarthy (Patsy Cornish) and hosted by Mayfield School.

Two days not to be missed with an exciting, varied mix of poetry, poetry workshops and music with influences from Jamaica, Bengal, Iran, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
