Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings should be made using the online booking form and then payment made either by the online payment system or with childcare vouchers. If payment is to be made by childcare vouchers, please contact mayfieldsparkcamps@mayfieldgirls.org to confirm which provider you use.
If you choose to cancel a booking within 21 days of the Camp, a refund minus 20% will be provided. Once the Camp has commenced, unfortunately no refund can be given.

Parking at Mayfield School

Please arrive and park in the Lower School car park.  Registration takes place in Lower School which is on your right as you walk up the hill and will be clearly sign-posted.

Please also park in the Lower School car park when collecting your children.

If another nominated adult is collecting your child, please inform the SPARK Manager in the morning so that we can ensure all children are safely looked after.

Break and Lunch times

At break time, all children will be offered a drink, piece of cake and some fruit. They will have supervised play in the garden if the weather is suitable, or alternative supervised activities indoors.
At lunchtime all of the children will be supervised in Lower School and the gardens, weather permitting. They should bring a packed lunch which includes a bottle of water.

After-hours care

Children can be brought to the School from 08:45 and should be collected at 16:00. After-hours care can be provided until 17:00 in the evening at an extra cost of £12 per day, per child. If you require after hours care, please select the appropriate options on the online booking form.

Wet weather programme

Activities scheduled to take place outside will continue unless the weather is extreme so please ensure your son or daughter has appropriate clothing for all weather conditions. If the weather prevents a scheduled activity from taking place, an alternative programme will be arranged.

What should my child in Reception to Year 2 wear?

Please dress your child in clothing suitable for sport, such as shorts, tracksuits or leggings. They must wear trainers so that they can use the sports facilities. They will be given a t-shirt on arrival which will be their ‘colour’ group and they should wear this each day for ease at registration times throughout the day.  Please pack goggles, hat, swimming costume and a towel in their swimming bag, plus spare clothes, a hat, sun cream and a light rain jacket in a separate bag. All items should be clearly named.

What should my child in Years 3 to 8 wear?

Please ensure your child brings any specialised equipment needed for the workshops they have chosen, e.g. swimming costumes, goggles, swimming hats, towels, hockey sticks, mouth guards, shin pads, trainers for sports and spikes for athletics (if they would like to). They will be given a coloured t-shirt on arrival which they should wear to help with registration throughout the day.  All items should be clearly named.
