Open Mornings
Saturday Workshops
The Big Night In!

Open Mornings

Friday 17 September 2010
Tuesday 9 November 2010

Open Mornings are held at least four times per year. The Headmistress and the Deputy Heads speak to parents about life at Mayfield; the Head Girl and two of the school’s younger pupils impart a glimpse into their own experiences of Mayfield; and pupils lead guided tours of the buildings and grounds. Lunch provides visitors with an opportunity to meet with parents whose daughters are already at Mayfield, and speak to senior staff and subject teachers about the academic, extra-curricular, pastoral and spiritual life of the school.

Saturday Workshops

Saturday 2 October 2010, throughout the morning

Our Open Mornings give you a chance to see Mayfield's teachers in action but our Saturday Workshops give you a chance to experience them in action. Join other pupils in one or more of our relaxed sessions:

The Big Night In!

Friday 19 to Saturday 20 November 2010, 5.45pm onwards

The girls of St Leonards-Mayfield School cordially invite you to spend a night in Mayfield. The Big Night In! is open to any girls going into Year 6 and above who are seriously interested in, or perhaps just curious about, life in a boarding school.  And parents aren’t left out: they are welcome to meet the Headmistress and other staff over breakfast on the Saturday morning. For those coming from London, minibus transport to and from the city can be arranged.

‘The girls’ moral awareness is notable. Moral principles permeate the school community and are central to all its activities.’
