Year 9 get to know each other in style!
On Saturday 5 September Year 9 spent a challenging afternoon at Arena Pursuits building rafts and navigating across lakes on them, dodging landmines and negotiating their way over streams (or through them!), under nets and through trees on an army-style assault course.
The afternoon was particularly geared to the integration of 'new' and 'old' girls, and proved successful in its aim. A great time was had by all, and the girls returned to school at the end of the afternoon tired, contented and with many new friends.
Everyone seemed to have a good time, even when waist deep in a rather cold stream!
