Inspection Reports

We are delighted to share our most recent ISI report, following an inspection in March 2026.  

The ISI regularly inspects independent schools to ensure the highest standards are upheld. Schools are evaluated against five key areas, with outcomes recorded as either met or not met. The inspection confirmed that Mayfield School met all standards. 

We are especially proud that our co-curricular and enrichment programme, in which every pupil participates, was identified as a significant strength of the school. This is a rare recognition, achieved by fewer than 10% of inspected schools nationally.

“The extensive and highly effective co-curricular activity and enrichment programme, in which all pupils take part, is a significant strength of the school. The programme is explicitly designed to cultivate extra skills and qualities to complement the taught curriculum.” 

“The programme cultivates essential skills and key personal qualities that equip pupils well for their future adult lives.”
