David Turner - Teacher of Chemistry

David, who hails from Uckfield, holds an MChem degree and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield. Prior to teaching, he worked in new medicines discovery, biotechnology and scientific information.

David joins Mayfield as a Teacher of Chemistry from Lewes Old Grammar School where he taught Chemistry and Spanish.

He is really looking forward to working at a lovely school with delightful pupils - and to teaching the Cornelian Principles!

In his spare time, David enjoys being active outdoors and he cycles, walks, paddle boards and camps as often as he can. He loves reading and watching science fiction and fantasy films, and has a cat called Katie.
