We are seeking an experienced Science Laboratory Technician to provide technician services to the Science Department, with a particular focus on Chemistry in KS4 and KS5 and General Science in KS3. The successful candidate would work with members of the Chemistry department to provide subject specific support for all lessons within the department on a daily basis.

Head of Religious Studies

Art Teacher – part time maternity cover for September 2021

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, skilled, versatile and enthusiastic art teacher with the ability to teach across all key stages and contribute fully to this lively and industrious art department. Experience in photography and Photoshop or printmaking are areas we are keen to develop however, these specialisms are not essential. The position will suit a recent graduate interested in teaching, someone looking for their first move or an experienced teacher. Training, support and ongoing mentoring will be provided by an outstanding department with a proven track record of inspiring girls of all abilities to achieve in and enjoy Art. Art Technician – part time maternity cover for September 2021

We are looking to appoint a part-time Art Technician who will be a committed and professional member of the Art Department team. We are looking for an organised, reliable and efficient team player who would enhance the day to day running of the department. We require someone with drive and enthusiasm, who possesses strong ICT and communication skills. Previous Art and Design experience (preferably with darkroom photography experience) or an Art and Design qualification would be an advantage but are not essential. For the right candidate this job could be combined with the Part Time Teacher of Art role being advertised to create a full time position.

On-Call Nurse

We are looking for a RGN to join our School Health Centre to support the delivery of healthcare in the School.  Reporting to the Senior Nurse, the successful applicant will work predominantly on an on-call basis outside of normal School hours but will spend at least half a day every week working within our Health Centre building relationships with both staff and pupils.  Whilst on-call the Nurse will be expected to provide guidance to Boarding Staff and to attend School when required.

Applicants will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience. They will be flexible, adaptable and pro-active with a genuine interest in the issues that affect children. Applicants should demonstrate an aptitude for building trust and confidence amongst others and be calm under pressure.

This position is term-time only (33 weeks per year) with salary dependent on experience. Candidates should be aware that this role requires night and weekend working on-call.  This position is initially available on a fixed term contract basis with the possibility of this being extended for the right candidate.
